Terms

The deal, in plain English.

Last updated May 24, 2026

These terms cover your use of SnitchPet on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use SnitchPet on devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Standard EULA and these terms.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically through your Apple ID until canceled. You can manage and cancel subscriptions any time from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your content

Pets, names, and any content you create in SnitchPet stay yours and stay on your device (and in your iCloud account). We don't collect, host, or share them.

AI providers

AI Pets work by connecting your own API key from an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic). Your key and prompts go directly from your device to that provider, we never see them. Your use of the provider is governed by their terms, and any usage costs are between you and them.

Acceptable use

Please don't reverse-engineer the app or try to bypass App Store protections. We'd really appreciate it.

Disclaimers

SnitchPet is provided “as is.” We do our best, but we don't guarantee the app is free of bugs or fit for any specific purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
